On arrival, we will meet you and provide a grocery welcome pack containing tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk, bread, free-range local eggs, plus other locally produced items. For guests staying for at least seven nights, we will often include additional local preserves, Devon clotted cream, scones or fresh fruit.

Bed linen and bath / hand towels are provided, as well as cots (please bring your own cot linen), bed-bumpers (for toddlers in single beds), high chairs and stair gates if you require them. Central heating, hot water, and a supply of logs and firelighters are all included in the price.

The cottages adopt the same high standards and old-world charm of Colehouse Farm. They are furnished and decorated to a very high standard throughout, with comfortable seating to relax in after a day's walking on Dartmoor. The central heating is supplemented by a real log stove for those special nights when you just want to snuggle up and let the world drift by.

Each cottage is equipped with a Sony flat-screen television, a Sony high-definition Blu Ray DVD player, and a CD stereo system. Every bedroom has a digital clock radio. As an alternative to digital entertainment, we provide lots of good books and games.

Our fully-fitted and equipped kitchens include a dishwasher, washer / dryer, full electric cooker with fan ovens, and everything you could want in a kitchen.

The bathrooms are fitted with shaver points and each of the main bedrooms has a hairdryer.

Outside, there are private gardens to enjoy and a separate playing field for ball games. We provide footballs, goal posts, cricket sets and racquets to make this a great attraction for families. A popular local circular walk can be enjoyed by following our lovely bridle path over the stream bridge to the village of Monkokehampton.
