This thatched Inn has been here since 1600, but has been lovingly restored in the last couple of years by its current owners. Meals are served all day in the main bar and the Snug with the non smoking restaurant. Open from 12:00- 2:30 and 6:00 - 10:00 7 days a week. Very handy for trips to Dartmoor.
- Frenchs' of Chulmleigh
We recently came across this lovely bistro restaurant just down the road in Chulmleigh, Mid Devon and had a lovely evening meal. It was affordable and interesting food in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. They believe that you do not have to spend a fortune to enjoy good wholesome food that is more varied than the usual pub fare.

The Half Moon Inn is well known, not just for the fishing but for the quality of its beers, well stocked bar and wine cellar, with wines from around the world to suit most palates. A magnificent log fire is a focal point in colder weather and the unique village inn atmosphere creates an ideal setting for our guests to meet informally and mix with the local people.

The Bridge Inn - Set in a beautiful riverside location just as you enter Hatherleigh, the Bridge Inn re-opened in the Autumn of 2008 after a major refurbishment of the building.
Managers Steve and Pauline Ward have earned a well deserved reputation for offering a warm welcome to all their customers old or new.
There are two bars the games bar has darts, pool and large screen TV, whilst the lounge bar offers a more serene environment with background music and local banter at the bar. Outside there is a riverside patio area overlooking the River Lew a tributary of the Torridge and renowned for its fishing. We also have a large function room available for private hire.
