Devon has a wide variety for fishing available. With almost every type fishing available locally, we are ideally positioned as a base to visit many of these fisheries, either for Match fishing or leisure fishing.  

Stafford Moor Fishery . This stunning Course fishery has five lakes set in sixty-three acres of gorgeous Devon Countryside. Situated between Winkleigh and Dolton, Stafford Moor offers the course angler many varieties of fishing. Specimen, pleasure and match on a total of 28 acres of stunning lakes absolutely teeming with many species of fish. Weeks Farm near Bridestowe have 3 lakes with a selection of Carp, Rudd, Tench, Bream and Barble. They also have an additional feature of a Nature Trail taking in the lovely country-side setting. More details available from 01837-861221.

Tavistock Trout Fishery is a lovely setting for fly fishing. 5 lakes stocked with Rainbow, Brown and Triploid Trout. Refreshments are available along with tuition if required. Full details available from 01822-615441

There are a number of reservoirs offering fishing thoughout the season. Meldon Reservoir specializes in Free wilderness brown trout fishing and is just a few mils down the road from Colehouse Farm. Further information is available from 01822-855700.
